May 11, 2007. If you thought that the relationship between Usher and his mother, Jonnetta Patton, couldn't get any more estranged, you'd be wrong. MediaTakeOut.com has discovered that Jonnetta's going after a new client - Usher's ex-girlfriend Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas.In an exclusive interview, a person close to Chilli told us that she's considering signing on to Jonnetta's management company, J-Pat Management. The tipster explains, "[Chilli] has been managing her own career for a [while]. But with a new album coming out later this year, it might be time to bring in someone else to help."
According to the snitch, J-Pat could be the perfect fit for Chilli. The tipster tells, "[Chilli] and Jonetta are very friendly and they both respect each others talents. So I think they would make a great team."
And the two have a lot more in common than just music. For years, both women have been feuding bitterly with Usher's new fiance, the 39 year old Tameka Foster.
Reports are that Jonnetta and Tameka's relationship is so volatile, that Usher's mom was once forced to take out a restraining order against her. And Tameka's feud with Chilli has been equally explosive. Word around Atlanta is that Chilli split with Usher after she caught him cheating with Tameka.
